The curled hair is built up in small, deliberate spirals, a raised, textured crown that catches light differently from the smoother, blended gold of the face and neck below it, giving the head real physical presence against the flatter background.

To the right, a pair of elephants appears in pale pink, one larger and one smaller, painted mid-motion as if playing rather than posed formally, their trunks and ears rendered with a light, almost sketch-like touch that keeps them from competing with Buddha's face for attention.

A single lotus bud rests near the elephants, painted in the same pale palette, extending toward Buddha's profile as though offered rather than simply placed in the background — a quiet gesture that ties the elephants, the flower, and the seated figure into one unified scene rather than separate decorative elements.
