Sparrows in Tiers

Sparrows in Tiers stacks several wires across a tall vertical canvas, sparrows perched in rows at each level, a soft pastel backdrop running the full height.

Stacking multiple wire tiers rather than a single line gives this piece considerably more density than the single-wire compositions elsewhere in the group, while the pastel backdrop keeps it from feeling crowded.

Its tall, tiered format suits a stairwell or narrow wall looking for a bird piece with real vertical rhythm.

In a room with mixed lighting through the day, the piece reads slightly differently morning to evening, which some people find adds to its character.

A confident animal study balances accuracy with a bit of looseness - too tight and it reads as a diagram, too loose and the likeness disappears. Sajaao's artists work to find that balance in every piece.

The paint here is built up with enough texture to catch light unevenly across the surface, which is part of what gives it real dimensional presence. It ships framed and securely packed, certificate of authenticity included.

Every piece in this collection is worked in acrylic on canvas by a Sajaao artist, with visible brushwork and layered colour that give the surface real presence. A certificate of authenticity, complimentary framing, and secure packaging come with every order.

Choose your frame in Black, Brown or White to suit the room it's going into - the frame is included at no extra cost, whichever colour you pick.

As a present, it has the advantage of feeling considered without being extravagant - a piece chosen for someone rather than picked at random.

Framed well and hung at the right height, it tends to become the piece people ask about first in a room.

It's a piece built around a specific palette, which makes it easier to plan a room around than a more generic composition.

It's a piece where the palette does more of the work than the subject alone would, which is often the harder thing to get right.

The composition has enough going on to reward a longer look, without needing that longer look to make sense of it.

It's built for a normal viewing distance - close enough to catch detail, far enough to read as a whole.

Colour, composition and subject were all considered together here, rather than one element carrying the whole piece.

A soft cloth and a sensible spot out of harsh light are all this canvas asks for. It arrives framed and ready to display.
