Inner Sanctuary is a 36" x 48" acrylic original by artist Swastik Jawalekar, and it is the most conceptually distinct piece in his collection. A cow is painted with its body shaped like a rounded, handled vessel — part animal, part ritual pot — and held within that vessel-body is a smaller painted image of Shiva, seated with a trishul, faintly visible as though glimpsed through the cow's own form.
