Jewel Toned Birch Grove II

This companion canvas continues the same jewelled birch grove with seven slender trunks now standing against a softer, sage green backdrop rather than the cooler grey of its pair. The same dazzling mosaic of teal, cobalt, lime, and gold fills each trunk, while faint grey branches again sketch themselves quietly across the background, this time picking up a gentle warmth from the green ground beneath them.

The same heavily textured, palette knife technique and clean black outlines continue from the first painting, keeping the pair visually unified in both surface and structure, while the added sage green background and an extra trunk give this second canvas its own slightly denser, more layered rhythm. Viewed together, the two paintings suggest walking further into the same jewelled forest.

Hung together, the two birch grove canvases create a fuller, more immersive forest display across a living room or dining wall, their shifting backgrounds adding subtle depth when viewed side by side, while each also holds strong presence individually as a single vivid accent.

As a matched pair, this painting suits collectors and design conscious buyers assembling a considered, gallery style hang, and makes a memorable gift for a housewarming or a nature lover furnishing a new living space.

Its richly textured, jewel toned surface continues the bold energy of its companion piece, giving buyers the option of a fuller two canvas forest or a single vivid statement piece depending on the wall available.

Every painting from Sajaao is an original, one-of-a-kind work hand-painted on canvas by the artist, and it arrives with a certificate of authenticity. Free framing in a choice of colours is available on request, and the surface only needs a gentle wipe with a soft, dry cloth to keep it looking fresh.

This companion canvas also holds up well hung on its own in a smaller room, its softer sage backdrop giving it a slightly gentler, more approachable presence than the cooler grey tones of its pair.

The softer sage green background in this second canvas also makes it slightly easier to place within a wider range of wall colours, offering a gentler backdrop than its companion for rooms that want a touch less contrast.
