Tree Ring Vortex II

This companion canvas continues the same mosaic tree ring pattern with its dark, hollow centre shifted toward the lower left, pulling the concentric bands into a slightly different, more dynamic spiral than its pair. The warm rust, amber, and burnt orange palette repeats throughout, with a touch more deep green woven into the outer bands, adding a subtle cooling note within the otherwise entirely warm composition.

The same tile by tile construction and fine dark outlines continue from the first canvas, keeping the pair visually unified in technique and mood, while the shifted vortex position and added green tones give this second painting its own distinct rhythm. Viewed side by side, the two canvases suggest two different cross sections of the same ancient, growth ringed form.

Hung together, the two canvases create an immersive, hypnotic pattern across a living room or study wall, their spiralling bands drawing the eye steadily between them, while each also holds strong presence individually as a single meditative accent.

As a matched pair, this painting suits collectors and design conscious buyers assembling a considered, gallery style hang, and makes a memorable gift for a housewarming or a creative studio space that wants bold organic pattern.

Its rich, hypnotic surface rewards a slow, considered look, making it a piece well suited to a meditation room, reading corner, or any space designed for quiet reflection and calm.

This second vortex canvas also tends to shift subtly with the light in a room, its added green tones reading cooler in daylight and warmer under evening lamp light, giving the painting a slightly different character depending on the time of day it is viewed. This quality makes it especially rewarding for a room used at different times, from a home office by day to a reading corner by night.

This organic, tile built surface also tends to photograph beautifully under natural light, making both canvases in this pair a strong choice for a well lit room where their fine texture can be fully appreciated.

Every painting from Sajaao is an original, one-of-a-kind work hand-painted on canvas by the artist, and it arrives with a certificate of authenticity. Free framing in a choice of colours is available on request, and the surface only needs a gentle wipe with a soft, dry cloth to keep it looking fresh.
