Storm Over the Summit abstracts a mountain scene into bold simplified peaks and colour fields, the sense of scale carried by shape alone.
Proportions between the larger and smaller shapes in the piece are worked out carefully, avoiding an arrangement that feels arbitrary or evenly spaced.
