Burnt Horizon

Burnt Horizon renders a sunset's warmth through abstracted colour transitions rather than a literal sky.

The negative space in the composition is treated with as much care as the painted areas, giving the piece room to breathe.

Its simplified, graphic style suits a contemporary space looking for abstract art that reads clearly from across a room. Positioned away from direct sun, the colours stay consistent and true rather than shifting through the day.

Working at a large scale changes the physical process of painting as much as the visual outcome - broader, more confident strokes are needed to keep a bigger composition from feeling thin or under-worked. Sajaao's artists adjust their technique accordingly for this collection's larger canvases.

The surface finish on this piece is genuinely dimensional - ridges and thin passages of colour that catch light differently depending on where you're standing. It ships framed and securely packed, with a certificate of authenticity included. Painted by hand rather than produced at scale, this canvas carries small, natural variations in brushwork that are part of what makes it an original. It ships with a certificate of authenticity, complimentary framing, and secure packaging for the journey to you.

Frame colour is yours to choose from Black, Brown, Gold, Silver or White, included as part of the order rather than billed separately. Whether it's for your own home or as a gift for someone who values handmade work, this canvas brings a layered, carefully painted presence that off-the-shelf decor doesn't. Dust the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth and keep the canvas out of direct, prolonged sunlight to preserve its colours over time. Framed and ready to display, it needs no further preparation once it arrives.

It's the kind of piece that suits a room you actually spend time in, not just one you walk past. As with the rest of this collection, the goal was a piece that rewards attention rather than fading into the background. This is a piece that rewards being lived with, the kind of detail that becomes more noticeable over time rather than less. This piece does well with a little breathing room on the wall around it rather than being crowded by other pieces. There's a quiet confidence to the composition - nothing is overworked, and nothing feels like it's filling space. It's a piece that benefits from a plain wall around it rather than competing with other busy elements nearby.
