Rose Ridge is a 16x7.5 acrylic original by artist Siddhesh Rane, a companion panorama in red, its rock formation and vertical striations shifted to the left edge with warmer pink undertones than its pair.
As a companion to Crimson Ridge, this panel moves the rock formation to the left edge and shifts the palette toward pink, giving the pair a mirrored, conversational quality when hung together. The vertical striations in the rock are finer here than in its companion, built from thinner, more closely spaced strokes.
Given the shared format and palette, this piece and Crimson Ridge are well suited to hanging as a pair on either side of a doorway or fixture. Where Crimson Ridge feels slightly cooler and more overcast, this piece leans warmer, closer to the pink-red tones seen in Weathered Face.
Rose Ridge reflects his consistent interest in rock and stone forms, rendered through layered, textural color rather than any single, identifiable place. It belongs to a wider group of 19 canyon and cliff-toned abstracts released together, several of which share this same underlying palette and technique. As the warmer counterpart to Crimson Ridge, it reads as one half of a matched pair rather than a fully standalone piece.
The gallery-wrapped canvas means it can go straight on the wall as-is; a floating frame is worth considering only if you want a more formal, finished edge.
