Catching Gold is a 10x14 watercolor original by artist Nandkishor Shinde, a beached fishing boat with figures wading nearby, painted in soft pink and gold tones against a hazy shoreline and distant purple hills.
The pink and gold palette here is unusually warm for a coastal scene, suggesting a specific, fleeting moment of light rather than a generic shoreline. The wading figures are kept loose and understated, small enough that the color and light remain the clear subject of the painting.
